Ife’s Closet

My stitch sistah Ife Felix has been sewing since childhood. Learning needle working from nuns in a convent she transitioned to sewing lace mack-daddy shirts as a Harlem teen to working with a furrier in NYC’s garment district. These days she spends her sewing moments as a master quilter and from time to time creates a “closet” (a fashion line) from her textile muse of the moment. The current joy is hand dyed indigo fabric and assorted other colors from Guinea West Africa. Come and get it while the getting is good. Once the closet doors close the next opening is undetermined. Like they say in West Africa “That Finish”!
